My name is George Caughell. I teach gr. 5 at William S. Patterson and am here in place of Jackie today. I would like to use ICT in my class through podcasts and video conferancing. I would also like my class to connect to and collaborate with other classes within the division.
Thanks George for taking my place - the Grade 6's and I had a previously planned glow-bowling event to attend!
My goals for LwICT include using digital storytelling, and i-movie. I would like to build up my Smart Board resources for all curriculum areas and someday develop a class website. -Jackie
This past year.... I learned a lot more about using the Smart Board in my classroom, and all that 'behind the scenes' set up the Smart Board and use of laptops in my classroom. I've used the laptops weekly, when the wireless was up and running. As well, students video-taped and presented several individual and class projects via the Smart Board. We completed a Science Powerpoint project.
